Our Story

MetCure Therapeutics LLC was founded to address a critical unmet medical need: therapy-resistant and rare cancers represent a serious public health crisis, affecting millions of patients for whom current standard-of-care treatments have limited efficacy. These patients face poor prognosis, shortened survival, and diminished quality of life. Motivated by this challenge, our team of experienced cancer researchers and medical professionals established MetCure to develop novel, first-in-class therapeutic solutions targeting the molecular mechanisms that drive chemoresistance and aggressive tumor progression. Since our founding in 2013, we have been supported by competitive NIH/NCI STTR grants and Georgia Research Alliance grants, enabling us to advance our research programs through rigorous scientific validation and drug discovery.
